BIRDS OF A FEATHER
BACKGROUND . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . From what began purely as a life-long, cherished hobby, the late Jannie La Grange and his wife Lettie opened the J A La Grange Birdpark in Boksburg in 1975, and today breeds, displays and trades both birds and fish on a wide scale basis.
The J A La Grange Bird Park possesses an impressive collection of imported birds from all over the world. This colourful collection of feathered creatures includes Macaws, Cockatoos, Blue Cranes, Peacocks, Black Swans, Mahems, . Ducks, Geese, Cassowaris, Ostriches, . . Hornbills, Pheasants and many more.
BLUE CRANE TEA GARDEN
Situated in the J A La Grange Bird Park is a Tea Garden where you can enjoy something to drink and eat in a garden atmosphere surrounded by peacocks and other birds.
PLAYGROUND
Next to the tea garden is a playground for the children where they can play
while you enjoy something to drink in the tea garden.
